1. Introduction

Welcome to Kinn Thai Restaurant. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at kinthaiuk.com and the ordering of food and services from Kinn Thai. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Kinn Thai Restaurant is a registered business operating from 25A Oxford Street, Southampton SO14 3DJ, United Kingdom. For any enquiries, please see the Contact Us section.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Ordering & Acceptance

Placing an Order

Orders can be placed through our website for delivery or collection. By submitting an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. You are responsible for ensuring your contact details and delivery address are correct.

Order Acceptance

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order — it confirms that we have received your order and are processing it. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, including but not limited to:

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund within 5–7 working days.

Minimum Order

A minimum order value of £15.00 applies to all delivery orders. This minimum may vary for collection orders at our discretion.

3. Pricing & Payment

Prices

All prices listed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT at the applicable UK rate where required. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already accepted by us.

We make every effort to ensure prices displayed are accurate. If a pricing error is discovered, we will inform you and allow you to reconfirm the order at the correct price or cancel it with a full refund.

Payment Methods

We accept payment via:

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your payment card details are encrypted and transmitted directly to Stripe — they are never stored on our servers. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.

Payment is taken at the time your order is placed. We do not accept cash on delivery.

4. Delivery Policy

Delivery Area

We deliver to addresses within the Southampton area, typically within a 3–5 mile radius of our restaurant at 25A Oxford Street, Southampton SO14 3DJ. We reserve the right to determine delivery eligibility based on your postcode.

Delivery Charges

A delivery fee of £2.99 applies to all delivery orders. Orders of £35.00 or more qualify for free delivery.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery time is 35-50 minutes from order confirmation. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Factors such as peak hours, traffic, weather, and order volume may affect delivery time. We will do our best to keep you informed of any significant delays.

Delivery to the Door

Our delivery drivers will deliver to the address you provide. If you are not available at the time of delivery, we will attempt to contact you. If we are unable to reach you or deliver after a reasonable attempt, your order may be cancelled, and no refund will be issued.

Please ensure any special delivery instructions (e.g., gate codes, apartment numbers) are included at checkout.

Failed Deliveries

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided by you, and delivery is not possible, we reserve the right to charge a redelivery fee or cancel the order at our discretion.

5. Collection Policy

If you choose to collect your order, please arrive at our restaurant at 25A Oxford Street, Southampton SO14 3DJ at the specified collection time. We will prepare your order as close to the chosen time as possible. If you are late for collection, the quality of your food may be affected, and Kinn Thai cannot be held responsible.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before it enters preparation. Once preparation has begun, cancellation may not be possible. To cancel, please call us as soon as possible at +44 7345 010 447.

Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason — including incorrect items, food quality issues, or significant delivery delays — please contact us within 24 hours. We will review your complaint and, where appropriate, offer a refund, replacement, or credit.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days. We reserve the right to refuse refunds where the issue is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Allergen Disclaimer

At Kinn Thai, we take food allergies and intolerances seriously. While we make every effort to identify and communicate the allergens present in our dishes, please be aware of the following:
